I am covered by the Staff-Leasing Collective Bargaining Agreement. Which rules apply to me?

Insurance begins on your first working day if:

  • your employment contract is for an indefinite period,
  • your employment is extended for a further three months without interruption,
  • your employer so wishes, or
  • you are financially responsible for the care of children.

It also begins on the day on which:

  • an assignment originally intended to be of shorter duration is extended beyond the 13th week within 52 weeks of the end of the previous assignment, or
  • agreement is reached to extend an assignment with the same temp agency if the original assignment plus the extension exceed an aggregate total of 13 weeks.
